Dear Parent/Guardian:
Your participation in your child’s education is important to us.  Because of this, we have
developed a district parent and family engagement plan for Decatur City Schools’ Title I
Schools.  The plan explains how we plan to work with parents to review and improve parent
programs.  We value your involvement and urge you to take the time to read this plan.  A
printed copy of this plan can be found at your child’s school.  You may also request a printed
